Terms of Service

By signing up for JobStep’s Program for Bootcamp Grads, JobStep agrees to provide the following: 

  1. Present the student with a curated list of active job openings twice a week for the application period. 

  2. During the application period, apply to approved or opted-in job openings

  3. Provide the student and St Peter's University - Data Institute full transparency into the list of jobs, applications, interviews, and offers

  4. Provide St Peter's University - Data Institute an aggregate dashboard showing students’ progress. 


To set you up for success, we ask that students comply with the following requirements: 

  1. Complete all required portions of JobStep’s onboarding process, including sharing contact information required for applications

  2. Sign our JobStep Universal Apply Agreement

  3. Provide any supplementary information required for the jobs that students approve within the 3-day deadline we provide. Students reserve the right to disapprove jobs once Students have seen the supplementary materials

  4. Do not change the password, set up 2-factor authentication, or set up a recovery phone or email address on the student’s JobStep email account. JobStep requires access to the student’s JobStep email in order to apply to jobs for Students. 

  5. Allow JobStep access to the student’s JobStep email account for the duration of the program.

JobStep Application Period


What counts as an interview?

JobStep defines an interview as a request to learn more about the student by a representative of the employer hiring for the role the student approved and after JobStep submitted all application materials requested on the online application page. Please note that JobStep will only submit application materials that are listed on the online application page for a job.


If you miss your JobStep Coaching Session as part of JobStep's Comprehensive packages: 

If you miss, are more than 5 minutes late, or cancel your JobStep Coaching session with less than 48 hours notice, we will charge you or the education partner you come through $25. This is because our JobStep coaches do quite a lot of work in advance of your coaching session to prepare and make sure you get the most of your time with them. We want to make sure they are compensated for their time. 


Cancellations:

You or your affiliated education organization can cancel your purchase at any point by emailing [email protected] with a message saying that you are canceling your purchase. JobStep does not issue refunds if you or your affiliated education partner cancels your purchase.


JobStep also retains the right to terminate your purchase at any point if we believe this relationship is no longer beneficial to JobStep or you.
